After more than 7 years in business, his first Recruitment Agency closed down. Heartbroken, lost and questioning everything about where we went wrong, he came to a few conclusions which led to the design and development of Qualified Candidate Database.

Jaryd also holds Executive Roles at Mpilo Technologies and Specd with more than 10 years Recruitment Industry Experience.

Tatum was admitted as an advocate of the high court in 2012. She is a member of the National Bar Council of South Africa. Tatum holds an LLB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. Since her admission she has founded a legal practice by establishing chambers in her home. She’s also had the privilege of co-founding and heading up the legal department of Big Shark Recruitment with Jaryd Jardien. The position required her knowledge and skills regarding legal compliance, HR responsibilities, labour law practices as well as contract drafting and negotiating.

She has since worked as the legal counsel for private individuals and other companies most notably for QCD. Where she not only serves as a legal advisor but as co-founder. She ensures legal compliance, draft and review contracts, give legal advice, communications and research. She also develops legal strategies and ensure that the company complies with legal standards, policies and guidelines.

Yusuf Jardien completed management development programmes at UCT, Wits and at the Thunderbird School of Management in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He also completed the intermediate programme at the Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries (CIS).
